Pantone's 2020 colour of the year is Classic Blue. It's no secret we love blue here at I&P (particularly if it's in a stripe), but we wanted more. So we've asked our favourite interior designer, Danielle Dunsford to give us some tips on how to make your home more...well, blue.
One of my most asked questions from clients is "How can I create a more up to date look....quickly"?
The answer is cushions. They are seasonal, think rich velvets for Winter, and fresh linen's for Spring. You can immediately inject colour, texture and pattern into your home in an affordable way. There are so many sizes out there- think what will work with your existing space- the lighting, the size of your sofa, pets and children around- this all will help you decide what will work. Remember though, this is fun, so enjoy it and style away! Otherwise, you can always call in the experts!!
